About Membership Integrity

Who We Are

Membership Integrity is a background screening company with a specific focus: membership-based organizations. We exist because the organizations that build communities — fraternities, sororities, churches, nonprofits, youth programs, sports leagues, Masonic bodies, and civic groups — have been underserved by an industry built almost entirely for corporate HR departments.

Generic screening companies offer generic solutions. We offer something different: a platform, a process, and a partnership model designed from the ground up for the way membership organizations actually work.

A Message from Our Founder

“I didn’t build Membership Integrity as an outsider looking in. I built it as someone who has sat in lodge rooms, worn the regalia, served on committees, and watched organizations I love struggle with questions they didn’t know how to answer: How do we know who we’re letting in? How do we protect our members? How do we do this without a corporate budget or an HR department?

I’ve spent my career studying human safety, human trafficking, and the systems that either protect people or fail them. I’ve seen what happens when organizations don’t have the right tools. And I’ve seen what’s possible when they do.

Membership Integrity is my answer to that gap.”

About Dr. Larolyn Young

Dr. Larolyn Young is a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS). Her academic background in organizational leadership and human health systems informs every aspect of how Membership Integrity is built — from the screening protocols to the partner program structure.

Dr. Young is an active member of seven female Masonic organizations and a proud member of Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority, Inc. — a sisterhood that honors the service and sacrifice of women who have served in the United States military. She understands fraternal culture, organizational hierarchy, and the trust that membership communities place in their leadership, because she lives it.

She is the founder of Hugs Charity (hugscharity.com), a nonprofit dedicated to community service and human welfare, and the CEO of Project SHIELD System (projectshieldsystem.com), a safety and protection platform built to shield individuals and organizations from harm.

Published Works

Dr. Young is a published author whose books speak directly to the communities Membership Integrity serves. Her writing bridges organizational leadership, child protection, and community safety — the same principles that underpin every screening program we build.

These books are not background reading. They are the foundation of Dr. Young’s philosophy — and the reason Membership Integrity exists. When she says this company was built to protect communities, her published work is the proof.

When Dr. Young says Membership Integrity was built for organizations like yours, she means it. She is one of your members — and she has spent her career studying what it takes to keep communities safe.
